Hello everyone! Finally back from my hiatus with a nice long post for you all. Enjoy!
It was my friend, Faye’s birthday. Taking advantage of spring break, we decided to go out. We hit up this nice cozy Italian restaurant and all ordered pizza (ofcourse!).
I decided to step out of my comfort zone with this bold statement skirt from Missguided. What better way to experiment with different styles than with your best gals!
My sister’s tan coat is from Boohoo and her star-studded purse is from Aldo
It was quite chilly that evening so Faye wore her warm army coat from Winners with a nice touch of pink fur to soften it up.
Coat – Winners
Bag – Gucci

Skirt – Forever 21
I absolutely loved Demetra’s skirt, the bead design was beautiful and stood out perfectly in the all-black look.

My sister’s babydoll dress from Zara had delicate floral embroidery, very suitable as an evening dress.

Decided to hit up a local art exhibition to take a break from finals prep. It’s been a hectic week with term papers and assignments needed to be handed in, so the calm atmosphere of the gallery really helped me unwind a little.
For this look, I went with a fitted striped dress underneath a dungaree dress, along with buckled ankle boots from Forever 21. The cross body bag is my favourite part of the outfit, I’m just so in love with its fringes!

Going to 2 hangouts in one day and need a versatile outfit to switch up the look? This is perfect since you have the option of wearing the fitted dress on its own as well!
December’s almost here and you know what that means! It’s the most wonderful time of the ye– I mean, I still have finals to get through but eventually it’ll be winter break! With everyone excited for the holiday season, the festivities seem to have already begun.
I ended up going to a fun pre-holiday party and decided to bust out my new faux-fur coat from Winners! It was definitely love at first sight; from the pattern of the design to the colours that complimented each other so well. A perfect transition coat from autumn to winter.
Since the coast was such a statement piece, I chose to go with an all black outfit to really make the colours from the coat pop out.
I accessorized with simple earrings and a choker with some dainty gold tassels.

California is known for it’s great weather, celebrity spotting and amazing beaches — one of them being Malibu Beach (surf’s up!). During my trip there with my family, we set our way to the coast to see what it’s all about and boy it did not disappoint! We arrived around mid-day and managed to find a more quiet area. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the sunshine, the calm waves washing ashore and the stunning view of the mountains.
The waves weren’t strong so I was able to get a nice swim in (although it was more like I was bobbing up and down along with the waves).
The way the clouds just gently touched the tops of the mountains made the scenery that much more serene. Everyone was relaxed and enjoying the moment — quite a difference from the fast pace life at Montreal. Definitely a beautiful beach that I would recommend to anyone making a visit to California!Stay tuned for future posts on California! 🙂
On cold windy days it’s easy to succumb the big sweater and sweatpants look, but there’s always a way to stay warm and cozy while still showing off your style.

The key is: LAYERING! Layering is your friend when it comes to the autumn and winter seasons.
One piece that I definitely recommend for your wardrobe this season is none other than a turtleneck. You can easily wear them on their own or under a sweater for extra warmth.
I layered a grey turtleneck under a grey short-sleeve sweater to seamlessly blend it into my outfit. And yes, you can still wear a skirt, even with the low temperatures, just add some opaque tights underneath! I wore a pair of combat boots just to give the look some edge.
(I was definitely freezing by the end of this shoot!!!)

With the weather quickly cooling down i opted for a long sleeve striped crop top and a faux leather skirt. Can’t go wrong with a classic black and grey look! I kicked it up a notch with dark red lips and nails, staples for the fall season. Elevate your look with some accessories and voila!

After much contemplation I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and create my own blog! So a huge warm welcome to all my new supporters as I take you into my humble world. I’m nervous as much as I’m excited, so cheers to a new beginning and I hope you all enjoy!
Without further ado let’s get right into my first outfit post!
Feeling particularly bold this day, I decided to wear this tulle shear dress from Zara (saw it while browsing online and just HAD to get it!) with a simple white button down and black leggings. With this ensemble I was able to bring out a bit of my quirky personality while still keeping it simple and chic. I accentuated with some orange lips and earrings from Aldo to bring some colour to the near monochromatic look. This is a great outfit to wear for any day you want to feel a bit more jazzed up!
